Last of the summer

IHAVE NEVER been good at goodbyes, and clothes and accessories are by no means an exception. The latter gets at least some leeway but last season’s clothes become just that, last season. Like most bargain-hunters, I’ve spent far too much in the sales, especially with the warm British snap that somehow entices me to spend even more which is no bargain at the end of the day! But before we begin focusing our attention on the new season and welcoming back our trusted opaque tights, I thoroughly suggest you embrace the last few weeks of summer and dress accordingly. Sorbet shades, floral prints and lighweight fabrics will unfortunately soon see the back of our wardrobes. So while the temperature is still high, concentrate on the now and make the most of your summer wardrobe whilst you still can.
