RABBI IN HEATHROW PRAYER ROOM DISPUTE
A RABBI is demanding a public apology from Heathrow airport after being told to remove his shoes inside its multi-faith prayer room. Rabbi Shmuli Brown, Chabad rabbi of Liverpool Universities, said “a person in uniform” had interrupted his morning prayers, telling him take off his shoes, as is the practice in mosques. “He made me feel very unwelcome, so I left the room,” the rabbi said. Heathrow said the incident was being investigated.
