KERRY DROPS IN

US Secretary of State John Kerry dropped in on Israel this week during a Middle East tour to discuss the ongoing violence. “This is an effort to see if we can get some concrete steps in place – begin to build them, maybe – that could calm things down a little bit,” Mr Kerry said. He stressed that there was no justification for Palestinian terror attacks against Israelis, and called up the bereaved parents of Ezra Schwartz, killed in a shooting attack last week, to express his condolences.
