Kurrant’s crop of stars

FUTSAL JON Kurrant insists the future looks bright for Profutsal London after he recognised the academy’s outstanding achievers at an awards night.

Academy chief Kurrant praised the efforts of the junior teams who run from U-10 to 16 and thanked the players for their “commitment, development and desire to learn”.

Zack Freedman won the Manager’s Player award, while Taylor Glassar collected the accolade for Players’ Player.

There were also prizes for under-12 starlets Oli Kaye and Dylan Meranda; Josh Davidson and Sammy Garcia in the U-14s and Jared Rand and Sonny White for the U-16s. Boaz Meranda was named Clubman of the Year.
