Hamas veteran apologises for Gazans’ misery
A MAN thought to be one of the founders of Hamas’s military wing has written a Facebook post in which he accuses the terror group of bringing destruction to the Palestinians, and apologises for his involvement in its activities.
Muhammad Nazami Nasser was reportedly an early member of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades and was known to be close to Mahmoud Abdel Rauf al-Mabhouh, a senior Hamas military commander who was assassinated in Dubai in 2010.
Although Nasser made no reference to the terror he inflicted on Israel, he apologised to nearly all of the various Palestinian factions, including “Palestinians within and outside [of Palestine]”, “the immortal Palestinian president Yasser Arafat”, Fatah and many others.

“I ask God to forgive me for this [deception] from the Devil [i.e. Hamas], that this hatred would bring me to the highest height of Paradise. O God, O God, OGodIhavebeendeprived of the blessing of diversity… My homeland has been destroyed because I couldn’t comprehend the acceptance of others. Worse, I thought I was working with religion…
“I hope you will accept my apology, though it may not be helpful after this destruction and devastation against religion, thehomelandandthepeople,” he wrote. ‘I’m sorry’: Nasser
