ACROSS CORNWALL

- FOLLOWPOLDARK

POLDARK is back on September 4 for its long-awaited second series, with a third season filming in Cornwall as well. Local accommodation specialists Milly & Martha have created a Poldark trail with locations and tips on things to do when you visit, from the first season’s famous swimming scene at Porthgwarra beach to the real Nampara Valley and the Poldark Tin Mine. Download from millyandmartha.com/library/ News/Poldark_Trail.pdf

For a taste of Series Two, wander along the beautiful South West Path to watch the sunset across Holywell Bay, with its iconic Gulf Rock before spotting it as a backdrop in some of the new scenes.

Or follow in the cast’s footsteps and check in to one of the Residences at Gwel An Mor near Portreath, where Ross, Demelza and Elizabeth have all stayed, as well as Retallack Resort between Newquay and Padstow. Filming at Porthgwarra Beach
