With its eclectic mix of fashion, accessories and homeware, Anthropologie will soon become your one-stop shop for picking gifts for yourself (ones that are too nice to give away) and unique fashion finds. Founded in 1992 in Pennsylvania, the store’s growth has become a global success, thanks to its attention to detail, American-style customer service and the host of brands under one roof. Don’t expect to bag a bargain, but do expect to fall in love with practically everything in-store. This weekend, to mark the opening, the store will be hosting a range of events to celebrate its new home in the shopping hub of north-west London. I’m planning to pitch my tent outside the store for the next three days. Come by and say hi.
