FOOTBALL STUART Delmonte is targeting cup glory after Reich Insurance Blue cruised into the last four of the Harold Feldman Trophy.

Delmonte fears the MJSL leaders will be overtaken by their title rivals who have games in hand in the run-in.

But he believes a cup triumph would be a fitting reward in his first season in joint charge.

Maccabi Manchester Blue had no answer to the brilliance of hat-trick hero Adam Wilson. Omri Perel and Gary Freedman also netted in a onesided contest.

Reich joint-manager Delmonte said: “We want to win a trophy of some kind this season. The league has been and remains our top target. But we realise that will be tough, even though we lead the way. We are realistic to know other teams will come on strong and make up ground.”

Reece Levy was the hero as Maccabi Manchester Yellow squeezed through against South Manchester Sports 2nd on penalties.

The Maccabi goalkeeper saved two spot-kicks in the shoot-out - and then scored himself to settle the topsy turvy last eight meeting.

Moshe Hasid, Ben Newman and Rafi Dines kept their cool before Levy’s heroics sent the Yellows through.

Nick Vale (4) and Louie Hewson (3) were the star performers as Leeds Maccabi crushed Reich Insurance White 10-0.

David Herman (2), Oli Grant and Adam Jackson scored in Manchester Maccabi’s 4-2 win over Manchester & Chorlton in the County Cup.
