FOOT­BALL AVRAM Grant ad­mit she will look back on his time as man­ager of Ghana as a suc­cess.

The Is­raeli left his post as na­tional team man­ager prior to the end of his con­tract, af­ter Ghana fin­ished fourth in the Africa Cup of Na­tions, los­ing to even­tual win­ners Cameroon.

Re­flect­ing on his twoyear ten­ure, Grant said: “The time is right for me to move on to a new chal­lenge.” “I’ve hugely en­joyed my time in Ghana tak­ing over af­ter the dis­as­trous 2014 World Cup cam­paign and re­build­ing the squad to reach the fi­nal in the AF­CON for only the sec­ond time in 23 years, and also the last four this year. “The pas­sion and loy­alty of the sup­port­ers is some­thing I’ll al­ways re­mem­ber.”
