Love and Resistance

Jack & Rochelle (Daunts, £9.99), by Jack and Rochelle Sutin (edited by Lawrence Sutin), is sub-titled “A Holocaust Story of Love and Resistance” and tells the true story of a 68-year marriage rooted in wartime Poland, where Jack and Rochelle grew up and were later taken from their families and sent to labour camps. The dramatic account tells of how they both escaped and got together in the Polish Resistance.
