Brit pack going for gold

FOOTBALL RICHARD Baum believes the future of Jewish football looks bright after Team Maccabi GB under-16 boys were announced as the first squad confirmed to take part at this summer’s Maccabiah Games.

Scott Ansher and Baum will work together with coach Jason Brissett as MGB looks to replicate the achievements of the 2013 squad in bringing back the gold from Israel.

Baum said: “We have a tough act to follow but we have assembled a group of players we feel have the ability to perform at a good level and play attractive football. They have shown a great attitude and willingness to learn.”
