Joe Jacobson was sent off as Wycombe’s promotion hopes were dealt a blow following a 1-0 defeat against Colchester United in League Two. Jacobson, 30, saw red for the second time in his career following two cautionable offences in the final 10 minutes at the Weston Homes Community Stadium. Scott Kashket missed the defeat through injury.

Scott Shulton went from hero to villain in Enfield Town’s 3-1 victory at Worthing in the Ryman Premier Division. Shulton scored the second goal with a fierce shot which flew in off the post but he was sent off after 68 minutes following an altercation with Brighton loanee Karl Oliyid.

Nyv Bogaire scored for Edgware Town in the 3-2 defeat against Leverstock Green.
