Fame and Fortnum for Jacobson
Plenty of posh nosh for the launch of Pussy, Howard Jacobson’s new book, at Fortnum and Mason’s. When publisher Dan Franklin raised his glass to “the country’s most brilliant comic novelist,” in walked Stephen Fry, who joked, “Just as I got here”. But there was no stealing the limelight from Mr Jacobson, whose novella is a satire on Donald Trump.
