PRINCESS CRUISES has announced a multi-million pound renovation, including new family features, on its ship Caribbean Princess, sailing out of Southampton from May to September.
The refit will include a new look and names for the three kids’ and teen clubs, for ages three to 17, as well as planned activities including science experiments and Lego boatbuilding. The ships will also get the line’s Ocean Medallion technology from summer 2018, allowing guests to order food and drink from anywhere on the ship, as well as letting parents locate their children on board. And Celebrity Cruises is also revealing its own new look ship, Celebrity Edge, featuring designs from big names such as Kelly Hoppen, larger staterooms designed to help you feel closer to the ocean, more luxurious suites, and a mid-air speciality restaurant which moves around the ship.
