PRINCESS CRUISES has an­nounced a multi-mil­lion pound ren­o­va­tion, in­clud­ing new fam­ily fea­tures, on its ship Caribbean Princess, sailing out of Southamp­ton from May to Septem­ber.

The re­fit will in­clude a new look and names for the three kids’ and teen clubs, for ages three to 17, as well as planned ac­tiv­i­ties in­clud­ing science ex­per­i­ments and Lego boat­build­ing. The ships will also get the line’s Ocean Medal­lion tech­nol­ogy from sum­mer 2018, al­low­ing guests to or­der food and drink from any­where on the ship, as well as let­ting par­ents lo­cate their chil­dren on board. And Celebrity Cruises is also re­veal­ing its own new look ship, Celebrity Edge, fea­tur­ing de­signs from big names such as Kelly Hop­pen, larger state­rooms de­signed to help you feel closer to the ocean, more lux­u­ri­ous suites, and a mid-air spe­cial­ity restau­rant which moves around the ship.
