Lawsuit against US neo-Nazi

A JEWISH woman in Montana, Tanya Gersh, is suing a white supremacist who she claims has launched a hate campaign against her and her family.

Backed by the Southern Poverty Law Centre, the veteran anti-racism body, Ms Gersh has taken out court papers against Andrew Anglin, founder of the neo-Nazi Daily Stormer website.

She claimed Anglin posted personal details about her on his website and that her family was targeted with more than 700 abusive phone calls and social media attacks.

Whitefish, Montana, where Ms Gersh lives, became the focus of international attention at the end of last year when white supremacists said they would demonstrate against Jews in the town.
