ATHLETICS James Bongart added almost 4m to his javelin personal best when taking victory at the Lee Valley Open. A student at Nottingham Trent University, Bongart’s throw of 62.08m moved him to fourth in the UK under-23 standings and 10th across all age groups. Eden Davis, 18, won the 100m in 10.9 at the Southern League Division One in Peterborough. He also placed second in the 200m in 22.4.
