Pop-up minyan is full of eastern promise

THE S& P Sephardi Community is to hold its first pop-up, “Oriental” minyan in Hendon on Shabbat. Rabbi Joseph Dweck, its senior rabbi, will lead services on Friday night and Shabbat morning at the Independent Jewish Day School premises, using melodies from the Middle East rather than the community’s traditional Spanish and Portuguese repertoire.
