Homes are helped by good sports

GOLFERS AND bridge players have raised almost £50,000 for the Nightingale Hammerson homes. Eighteen teams contested the charity’s golf day at Coombe Hill, Kingston upon Thames, where the winning team comprised Harvey Rosen, Laurence Rosen, Martin Rosen and Jon Bartman. Its bridge tournament at Alyth in Golders Green attracted 100 participants and was won by Evy Levene and Jackie Karp.

The funds will go towards “extra enrichment activities” for residents.
