FIVE WINES FOR ROSH HASHANAH

-

Montefiore Aria Reserve is a limited edition wine to celebrate the new style of Israeli Mediterranean blend. Aria means “air” in Italian. It is a reminder of the winds that blow the sails of the Montefiore windmill and the winds from the Mediterranean sea, which cool the vineyards. The wine has sweet aromas of ripe berries, cherries and plum, backed by oak and spice flavours.

Tabor Malkia is made from a single vineyard in the Upper Galilee. This fullbodied wine is a deep dark ruby red with cherry hues. It exhibits aromas and flavours of black forest fruits and cassis with hints of caramel, clove and Mediterranean herbs. Robust and velvety tannins contribute to the structure and lead to a juicy enduring finish.

Herzog Variations American Oak (100% Cabernet Sauvignon grape) offers bold aromas of ripened cranberry and a satin texture, finished with notes of creamy oak, vanilla and spice.

Joyvin Sangria is a blend of Italian wine, juice and natural fruit flavours, showcasing lively citrus, juicy berry and warm and spicy flavours and aromas. Serve chilled on its own or with cut-up fruit.

Distillary 209 Gin is vastly different from the juniper-heavy gins of the past. First across the palate are the citrus high notes, with lemon followed by a hint of orange. As the spirit warms in the mouth, delicate floral notes are liberated. Midpalate, there is a pepper-like warmth from the cardamom and juniper. As this continues to bloom, mint-like components emerge. The cassia and other warm spice notes become prominent on the finish.
