Heathlands trio welcome commercial break

RESIDENTS OF The Fed’s Heathlands home in Manchester have become film stars, having been drafted in as extras for an online commercial for the Carphone Warehouse.

The advert’s theme is a student making others feel good by, among other things, delivering flowers to a care home. Residents Sonny David, Betty Ginsburg and Elsie Silcove said it had been a fun experience.

A Fed spokesman added that the filming had been “a great opportunity to boost our residents’ well-being.

“And we now have more flowers than we know what to do with.”
