Kisharon service users are appealing bunch

-

CLIENTS OF learning disability charity Kisharon have taken a full role in its Rosh Hashanah appeal, which the charity hopes will top last year’s record £94,000.

The appeal incorporates Rosh Hashanah cards designed by service users. They also helped to mail it to more than 5,000 people.

Supporters can additionally back the appeal by purchasing honey in personalised jars from Kisharon’s social enterprise venture, Equal.

Service users have also been packing honey cakes for seasonal sale.

Kisharon CEO Bev Jacobson said the appeal “amply demonstrates how, through the community’s generosity, Kisharon enables people with learning disabilities to develop, taking on real and meaningful roles”.
