BARASH. Freddie. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our wonderful husband, dad and pomps on Monday, February 18, 2019. He was a man of great dignity and boundless love for his family. He leaves a huge void in all our lives. Deeply missed by his beloved wife Minnie, children Russell and Mandy, Joanna and Robert, Jenny and Howard and all his adored grandchild­ren.

BARNETT. Stuart Isaac. Passed away on February 13, after a long illness which he fought courageous­ly. We will not forget his passion, positivity, footballin­g skills and wonderful sense of humour. His love for his family and friends knew no bounds. He was adored and loved by us all and we will miss him deeply.— Ali, Paul, Amy and Zoë.

BARNETT. Stuart. Our dear friend has gone peacefully to his eternal rest. He will be missed and forever remembered for his kindness and sense of humour. Our sympathies to his loved ones, who looked after him so superbly.— Conrad and Diana.

COOPER. Warren. We have lost our beloved cousin. A true mench, blessed with wonderful qualities, academical­ly gifted, a rare diamond who was happiest surrounded by his family. FREEDMAN. Jack Chevalier de la Legion d’Honneur. Passed away peacefully on February 14, aged 97. He will be deeply missed by his wife Freda after 64 years of marriage, sons Alan and Barry, daughter-inlaw Peta and grandchild­ren Simon and Abigail.

GOODMAN. Zena. Passed away on February 14. Much-loved and deeply mourned by her husband John, children Simon, Shane and Andrew, brother Trevor, son-in-law Hugh, daughter-in-law Ingrid and grandchild­ren Maia, Noami, Theo and Zara. Forever in our hearts.

HIRSCHFELD. Rosemarie. Our beautiful inspiratio­n passed away on February 13, aged 89. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by Alexander and Jane Hirschfeld, Janet and Ian Shelley, brother Denis Ross, together with Claire, Jonnie, Theo, Isla and Olivia.

KESSELMSAN. Neville (Nissan). We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our dear Nicky. His erudition, legal expertise and good humour were legendary. He was a leading light in the campaign to safeguard shechita in the UK and together with his brother Chanoch wrote a seminal work on the subject. He will be deeply missed by wife Pamela and her children, his children, Marilyn, Bryan, Chanoch and Eva, nieces, nephews and extended family.

KIVERSTEIN. Ivor. Passed away on Tuesday, February 12. Taken from us too soon. Sadly missed by his wife Lynda, daughter Louise, son Julian, brother Keith, sister Angela, his four grandchild­ren and all his family and friends. Never to be forgotten by all who loved him. May his memory be for a blessing.

PENTOL. Derek. After a long and rich life, at the age of 92, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Derek Pentol of Ramat Aviv, Israel, formerly of London, ;N[]Qā[ BāM»U KWM òK[MRÞ 3NNYUā missed by his wife Rachel and their children Davyd Tal, Debbie Stone, Daniel Ben-Tal, Dena Pentol, Ian and Clive Miskin, 11 grandchild­ren and six great-grandchild­ren.

PENTOL. Derek. Our dearest father and grandfathe­r who has passed away peacefully at the age of 92. He had a full and rich life and we will always treasure the memories we have of him during his time in Wales and then in Israel.— Debbie and Robert Stone, Danielle, David and Gideon.

POSTER. Clive. Devastated at the loss of our darling dad who left us so suddenly. We will not forget his outgoing nature, his zest for life and his generosity of spirit. He will be forever in our hearts and deeply missed by his son Dean, daughterin-law Jo, grandchild­ren Ben, Charli and Libby, daughter Dawn and Alan.

ROSE. Henry. One of the last of “The Boys” died peacefully aged 94 on February 16, 2019. Deeply mourned by his wife Mindel, Sharon and Jonathan, Belinda, Henry, Hannah and Samuel.

SACKS. Stella (Estelle). Passed away peacefully on February 17, aged 93. She will be missed by her son Martin, her daughter Rhoda, sonin-law Baruch, grandchild­ren Ben and Anna and great-grandchild­ren Jacob, Freddie and Sashi.

SOPHER. Raymonde (née Shasha) and David. Raymonde passed away on January 26, 2019, at Lauderdale Road Synagogue, following the Shabbat morning service. Her husband David passed away at home 19 days later on February 14, 2019. They had recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversar­y. They will be missed by their children Rick, Edward, Rachel and Mark, daughters-in-law Carol, Nadia and Michele, grandchild­ren, sisters and by the rest of their family and their many close friends.

STECKER. Ginty Agnes. Passed away February 19. A beautiful lady, loved by all who knew her. An abundance of charm and personalit­y together with her Scottish sense of humour, made her a special person. During our 31 years of a very happy marriage she handled her health problems with amazing fortitude. I will miss her and love her and she will be forever in our hearts.— Husband Gerald, son Paul, brother William with Betty and their children, step-daughters Simone and Amanda and six beloved grandchild­ren.

TEMKIN. Muriel. Passed away February 16, aged 94. An honour to have had her as a much loved aunt, great-aunt and great-great-aunt. May she rest in eternal peace.— Roger, Rochelle, Ian, Sarah, David and Pippa and their families.

WAYNE. Muriel. Beloved mum and devoted nanny, aged 91, who always made the best of everything and will live on in our hearts. Remembered by her daughters Judith and Ruth, sons-in-law, grandchild­ren, greatgrand­children, family and friends.
