STERNBERG. Ashley and Eddie are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their beautiful daughter, Thea Marcella on February 17, 2020. Mazeltov to grandparen­ts Stella and Geoffrey Sternberg and Marcia Connell and Richard James.

BLACK. Gideon and Aliza are thrilled to announce the birth in Englewood, New Jersey, of their precious son, Asher, on February 7, 2020, a brother for Judah, Natan and Maya. Mazeltov to grandparen­ts Mrs Naomi Jacobs, Helene and Barry Berkowitz and Michael Black.

Deaths

AUERBACH. Cyril. Patriarch, advisor and lover of life. Our colourful dad and grandpa passed away aged 98 on Thursday, February 13, 2020. Deeply missed by Gina, Simon, Eloise, Nathan, Mimi, Hannah, Isadore and his extended family. His long and fulfilled life enriched us all. Once met, never forgotten.

BELLWIN. The Rt Hon The Lady Bellwin. Doreen passed away surrounded by her family on February 13. Always elegant, sophistica­ted, dignified and classy. She will be sadly missed by daughters Frances Taylor and Linda Porter, son Stephen Bellow, sons and daughter-in-law, grandchild­ren and great-grandchild­ren. Married to her beloved husband Irwin for 53 years, she deeply missed him when he passed away in 2001. Their irreplacea­ble bond continues in their shared yahrzeit date.

BENTLEY. Gerald. My darling husband for 60 wonderful years. I cannot imagine life without him. I will love him and miss him for the rest of my life.— Gloria.

BENTLEY. Gerald. Our darling, wonderful dad and papa. We have such wonderful memories of the many happy times we spent together. We will love him and remember him always.— Tina and Lee, David, Chloé and Charles, Declan, Lara and Lois.

BENTLEY. Gerald. We are deeply saddened by the loss of our muchloved brother-in-law and uncle, who is at last at peace after such a cruel illness, borne so bravely. We will think of him at family gatherings and raise a glass of Chianti in his memory. BINKS. Jacqueline (née Shine). Resident of Douglas, Isle of Man. Died February 19, 2020. May my dearest friend rest in peace.

CHALFEN. Gerald. A kind and loving husband to Anita, father to Joanne with Lee, Mark with Becky. Grandpa to Riley, Coco, Jessica, Fynn and Theo. He had an amazing life and leaves fond memories to all. May he rest in peace.

CHALFEN. Gerald. My lovely caring big brother. He was always there for me. We shared so much together, both happy and sad. He was much loved by his nephew and nieces, all their partners and children. Gerald made them all proud to be part of the Chalfen family. I will miss him terribly and remember him with much love and pride.— Valerie Green.

GOWER. Anne. Passed away this past Shabbat. Deeply mourned by her sons Cecil, Barry, Peter and David, daughters-in-law, grandchild­ren and great-grandchild­ren. A matriarch to all of her extended family worldwide. ‘Love and miss you a thousand millions’.

LENGA. Paul. The Jewish Agency for Israel mourns his untimely passing. He will be remembered for his tireless efforts supporting Informal Education, in particular his work with The Federation of Zionist Youth. Our thoughts and condolence­s are with his wife Sharon and his children Nadav, Daniel, Maayan and Idan.

MOORE. Roberta (Bobbie). The love of my life lost her battle on February 12, 2020. My only consolatio­n is that I had over 60 years of fun, laughter and happiness with her, but I miss her and it hurts. She was the matriarch of the family, who was always there to love, console and relieve all their problems. From the hundreds of tributes there was a common theme in which she was adored by all who knew her. Beautiful, elegant and stylish she was a magnet who attracted all in her presence. Until I meet my darling again, may she sleep peacefully. I will love her forever.— Ian.

MOORE. Bobbie. Our beautiful, vibrant, vivacious mummy and nanna has left us too soon and we are broken hearted. Her capacity to love us was immeasurab­le and her infectious personalit­y touched the lives of everyone she met. She will never be forgotten and we will love her forever.— Joanne, Philip, Lana and Dani.

MOORE. Roberta (Bobbie). I am devastated by the passing of my beautiful mum. She was a caring, loving soul and was always there for me, her memory will always be imprinted in my heart. I will miss her so much. May she rest in peace. — Richard and Jules.

MORGENSTER­N (née Berman). Noama (Noah bas Moshe). On Sunday, February 16 (Shevat 21), our beloved and cherished mummy, mother-in-law and grandma left us after a valiant struggle. A remarkable, elegant, feisty lady with an iron will. She leaves a fine legacy. Now at rest with her darling Bengy. The amazing ‘Mrs Morgenster­n’ forever mourned and missed by Michele and David (Lobl) and granddaugh­ter Sophie, in whom she took much pride and joy. May mummy rest in peace with daddy and may we continue to live by their example.

NORTON. Richard. Passed away Friday, February 14. Beloved husband, father, father-in-law, grandfathe­r and great-grandfathe­r.
