OAKWOOD 5 CAMDEN PARK 1
Oakwood Director of Football Dan Kristall described hat-trick hero Josh Cuby as “totally unplayable” following the 5-1 destruction of Camden Park. Daniel Seligman and Brad Wine added the gloss as Oakwood marched into the last four. Kristall said: “It was an emphatic win in poor weather conditions. We outplayed Camden, with Cuby the stand-out player. He deservedly took the match ball home after three first-half goals and an assist.”
MLFC BLUE 1 HMH 2
HMH boss Avi Goldberg says Storm Dennis “brought out the best” of his team as strikes from Ariel Rahamim and Dom Feldman helped them secure a place in their third cup semi-final of the season. Max Kyte had put MLFC on course for their third victory over HMH, but HMH rallied, scoring a goal in each half. Goldberg said: “Another week watching quality football in terrible conditions, which only serve to bring out the best in our game. This time we did not concede a late goal and we were focused on keeping MLFC much deeper and it worked as we ran out winners. There were some superb performances, none more so that Eli Wegrzyn and Ethan Krell in midfield, who stepped up in the absence of Prais, Moss and Monjack, to deliver top performances.” MLFC joint-manager Laurence Judah admitted: “The best team won on the day.” He went on to say: “Overall I don’t have any huge complaints about our performance. We were missing seven regular starters so as I say, I’m not too disheartened.”

Josh Cuby was “totally unplayable” against Camden Park
Nathan, Anthony Cope and Jimmy Castle replied for RJC. RJC boss Daniel Jacobs said: “It was a really great game. We were a little unlucky not to hold on for the win but it was a superb performance. The boys did everything we asked of them and more.” Dons manager Jamie Nagioff expressed frustration and said: “We let ourselves down a bit today. While I’m delighted with the way we responded to their third goal and the way we kept pushing for an equaliser, we really shouldn’t have been in that position in the first place.”

HERTSWOOD VALE 6 SPEC FC 0
A four-goal blitz from Harry Graham eased Hertswood Vale past SPEC FC as they secured their place in their second cup semi-final of the season. James Millet scored a brace to seal an emphatic victory for a Vale team chasing double cup glory. Vale joint-manager Jacob Emanuel said: “The first 30 minutes were absolutely pivotal in this match, as both teams struggled to get into the game. Adam Zaidman pulled off a crucial save and within minutes, we scored another couple of goals to put the game to bed by half-time. We were absolutely devastating in attack, none more so than Harry Graham.” Emanuel added: “I said to the boys in training this week that we don’t score enough goals in games, and in fairness they responded perfectly.”
