Title race blown wide open as Borussia Barnet lose thriller

Match of the day saw Hertswood Vale blow the Division One title race wide open as a hat-trick from Harry Graham saw them claim a stunning 5-4 win at the leaders Borussia Barnet. James Millett and Scott Hircombe were also on target for Vale, with joint-manager Jacob Emanuel saying: “I couldn’t be prouder of the boys. We were the better team and thoroughly deserved the points in what is undoubtedl­y one of the bigger league results in our history.”

London Bears moved to within a point of Barnet following their 2-2 draw with Paris Saint Jewmain, Gabriel Platt’s double cancelled out by strikes from Josh Summerfiel­d and Michael Elia.

Club de Chigwell stay joint-third as two goals each from Jacob Bennett and Stanley Offord helped them to a thrilling 6-4 victory over Faithfold Green.

SPEC came away from Hampstead Ducks with a 4-2 win thanks to strikes from Dan Cohen, Jeff Gotch, Sam Roth and Raf Neiman.

NL Raiders saw off NL Galaxy 4-1 thanks to Jordan Nathan’s double, plus efforts from Charlie Cohen and Maxim Green. Raiders’ Gideon Gale said: “It was a very discipline­d win and I’m delighted with the three points.”
