Wagner’s treble hits right note as HMH go joint top
HMH moved joint top of the Premier Division table as a hat-trick from Oscar Wagner saw them beat Maccabi London FC 6-3 in a thrilling encounter.
Trailing 2-0 after just 20 minutes, Avi Golberg’s men bounced back in stunning style, with Dan Hardoon, Ethan Krell and Sammy Kingston adding to Wagner’s treble.
Goldberg said: “This was a great advert for the MGBSFL. A Lions win would have given them a healthy lead and made them odds-on for the title. We were disappointed to lose 1-0 last time out and were determined to make amends and duly did so.”

Joe Gourgey and Adam Ellis earned them in a point in a 2-2 draw, before Gourgey and Dan Shapiro secured a 2-1 win in the second game. Rovers manager Dan Cohen said: “It was a fantastic day at the office for us — a brilliant team performance for 120 minutes. We could have won the first game but we’re building great momentum as we look to finish the season strongly.”
FC Team claimed an impressive 4-1 win at Mill Hill Dons, while Faithfold Green and Paris Saint Jewmain played out a 2-2 draw.
