Loved-up Mark Ronson posts a chuppah snap
IT’S OFFICIAL, Jewish DJ Mark Ronson has now gained Oscar-winning star Meryl Streep as his mother-in-law, having wed her actress daughter last month.
Mr Ronson and Grace Gummer were pictured holding hands as they stepped out from beneath their wedding chuppah in a snap posted on the music producer’s Instagram feed last week.
Mr Ronson, 46, who was pictured wearing a kippah, paid tribute to his wife in the heartfelt post marking his birthday.
“You made 45 hands down the greatest year of my life,” Mr Ronson wrote.
“And I’m sure it took me 45 years to become the man worthy of your love.
“I hope I spend every one of these birthdays by your side til my last day. And beyond. Forever and ever yours,” he added.
The post sparked a flood of gushing messages, with the actress Rita Wilson and Lady Gaga among those congratulating the pair.
The Jewish fashion designer Zac Posen also joined in, posting a row of heart emojis.
Celebrity gossip website Page Six reported that the ceremony took place in New York last month with a guestlist limited to close friends and family members.
Mr Ronson is best known for his Uptown Funk hit and his work with Amy Winehouse, while Ms Gummer has held roles in American Horror Story and the Newsroom.
Both were previously married, with Mr Ronson and the French actress Joséphine de La Baume ending their marriage in 2018, according to multiple media reports.
Ms Gummer and the musician Tay Strathairn also reportedly divorced last year.
