Like attracts like, so friends of friends will often share similar interests and values to you. Plus if your friends suggest a match, you’ll both be much more likely to give it your best shot – otherwise, you’d be letting them down!

I advise my clients to reach out to their friends on social media to see if they can matchmake for them. Everyone knows plenty of single people and it’s easy to make an introduction. There’s also the bonus that you can get each other’s back stories before you even meet.
