Jukes warning as Leigh stun Salford
RUGBY LEAGUE:
Leigh coach Neil Jukes (above) is refusing to get carried away despite his side’s 32-26 win over Salford which gives their promotion hopes a big boost. They became the first Kingstone Press Championship side this season to beat a topflight outfit in the First Utility Qualifiers Super 8s. But Jukes said: ‘The job’s not done yet. We must get two points at Featherstone next week or else this win will mean little.’ Salford had four tries disallowed by video referee James Child but coach Ian Watson said: ‘If any had been given they would have still masked a poor performance,’ he said. Warrington can go second again if they win their game in hand at Wakefield today.
