Green faces debate in Parliament
SIR Philip Green was under renewed pressure last night to speed up efforts to plug a £571million hole in the BHS pension fund after a senior MP revealed plans to call for a full parliamentary debate on the firm’s collapse.
Iain Wright, chairman of the Business, Innovation and Skills Select Committee said: ‘We’ve got a chance to make sure a deal is done for the pensioners and we want to keep the pressure up. We want to have a debate on this when the House returns in September.’
