THIS big, sexy new four-seat coupé from Lexus isn’t on sale yet but it is already winning awards for its design, inside and out. It’s based on the critically acclaimed LF-LC concept car, but while the styling of concept cars is usually toned down by the time they go on sale, the LC500 seems to have preserved the original design’s drama. The price is yet to be confirmed but it won’t be cheap. In addition to the looks, you’ll get impressive build quality and reliability, and the choice of a hybrid powertrain or a traditional muscle-car five-litre V8, equipped with the first ten-speed gearbox to be offered in a production car.
