IT’S been an action-packed year at Liverpool since Jurgen Klopp was appointed manager in October 2015.

Tomorrow, Klopp completes his first ‘season’ when he takes charge of Liverpool for a 38th Premier League game.

And over the previous 37 matches the entertaini­ng Reds have scored more goals than any of their rivals. THEY also boast the highest average possession figure of any side over the same period and, to illustrate their work ethic, have completed more sprints.

At the back there are still concerns. Under Klopp Liverpool have faced fewer than 10 shots per game yet still conceded far more goals than their top-six rivals.
