Head of recruitment could also be leaving

LEICESTER’S head of recruitment Eduardo Macia faces an uncertain future after the sacking of Claudio Ranieri, writes Laurie Whitwell.

Macia was appointed last summer on the recommendation of Ranieri, but with the Italian gone and scrutiny on transfer dealings mounting his position could be at risk.

The 42-year-old replaced Steve Walsh, who joined Everton, but has experienced an underwhelming success rate in the transfer market.
