Nice snap, Cheryl ... shame it’s just a pointless stunt
I STARED for ages at that photo of 15 highly attractive, mostly famous people in tight black clothes that made the papers last week.
But I still fail to see how it is going to help those with self-esteem issues.
It’s part of the All Worth It campaign ‘to help raise the confidence of 10,000 young people across the UK who are struggling with self-doubt’ – and shows, among others, an older actor, blogger, vlogger and wheelchair user, which is all very inspirational I’m sure.
But it doesn’t work for me. Over to the very pregnant Cheryl Cole, who also stars in the campaign, to explain: ‘We’re all worth it because what makes us different is what makes us beautiful.’
Dunno about you but this lovely image of a stunning, white, rich pop star and talent show judge in full bloom, cradling her baby bump, doesn’t ease this middle-aged person struggling with self-doubt in the slightest.
Spare us the Celebrity All-Sorts campaign from now on.
