Anna Wintour is famed for being an ice queen, so I wasn’t surprised when American supermodel Ashley Graham, right, claimed she was banned from an exclusive party by the Vogue editor – over a hug.

Things went wrong as Ashley, 29, introduced her film-maker husband Justin Ervin to Dame Anna at an LA party. Ashley says: ‘Out of the blue, he said, “Hi Anna! I just have to give you a hug.” Justin leaned in and put his arms around her. All I saw were her two little forearms come around and pat his back. “Nice to meet you,” she said quietly, then took a step back.’ Days later, Ashley said, her invitation to the plush Met Gala was put ‘on hold’.
