WIGAN want to rehire Uwe Rosler as their new manager but could face competition from Norwich for the former Manchester City striker, currently boss of Fleetwood.

League One minnows Fleetwood’s unlikely promotion push has attracted attention and Wigan — who have sacked Gary Caldwell and Warren Joyce this season — have made it clear he is on the top of their wishlist.

But Rosler, 48, wants to see if he is also offered the vacant job at Norwich.
