Bale fit for clasico
GARETH BALE has recovered from a calf strain and will play a part in tonight’s Clasico against Barcelona, the game that could take him to within touching distance of his first Spanish league title.
A victory for Real would put them six points clear with a game in hand and Barca boss Luis Enrique admitted the title race would be all but over, saying: ‘This is one of those games that will be decisive.’
Barcelona’s Neymar is serving a threematch ban after sarcastically applauding an official two weeks ago but has been named in the squad because the club hope the Court of Arbitration in Sport will give him a late reprieve.
His absence would put more pressure on Leo Messi, who has not scored in any of his last six Clasicos.
