Alice is just the latest victim of PC zealots
Following your article about actress Alice Eve (pictured above) sporting ‘corn row’ braids, why don’t online trolls think about their cowardly actions and the effects they have not just on their victim but on those they purport to be supporting?
Having visited almost every Caribbean island, I can tell your readers that hundreds of black Caribbean women are employed in enticing visitors to have their hair braided.
These workers, some of the poorest in the world, rely upon wages they receive from this work yet they are always happy, cheerful and friendly.
What a shame that Alice decided to change back to her natural hairstyle just a few days after having her braids. It was a great opportunity to promote the work of many of the nicest, friendliest people in the world.
I just hope that the story does not put people off having their hair braided.
