Webb weighing up benefits of NZ tour

-

WEIGH-IN sessions at the Lions’ hotel have provided positive results. Some players have lost more than 15lb on the scales. Scrum-half Rhys Webb, pictured, credits the results to a step up in distance covered in matches compared to a club game. ‘You’re probably looking at 4.5km per game with the Ospreys and around 5km with Wales. Here it’s probably 5.5-6km per game,’ he said.

GAMES of ‘Credit Card Roulette’ have become commonplace at the Lions dinner table. It requires every player to place their bank cards in a hat, before they are pulled out one-by-one at random. The last card left in the hat is used to pay the bill for a dinner table of hungry Lions.
