KEVIN NOLAN thought his Notts County side ‘dominated throughout’ in their win over Lincoln. Jon Stead (right), Matt Tootle, Jorge Grant and Terry Hawkridge scored the goals that stretched the hosts’ unbeaten run to eight League games. Harry Anderson netted what proved to be a consolatio­n for the visitors, who had Billy Knott controvers­ially sent off for a high-footed tackle on Ryan Yates.

CRAIG MACKAIL-SMITH’S goal secured a win which Wycombe manager Gareth Ainsworth said was ‘deserved’. Nathan Tyson gave Colchester the lead, before Brandon Hanlan levelled.

DANNY ROSE was the hero again for Mansfield, as his late winner saw off Cambridge. Leon Legge had given the visitors the lead, before Jacob Mellis’ penalty. Victorious manager Steve Evans said: ‘It was a great win.’

KEITH CURLE said his Carlisle side ‘silenced their critics’ at Crewe. Danny Grainger (two, one a penalty), a Michael Raynes own goal, Reggie Lambe and Hallam Hope scored the goals.

CHESTERFIE­LD caretaker manager Guy Branston thought his side ‘scared Luton to death’ during their defeat at Kenilworth Road. Despite that, the hosts’ striker Danny Hylton scored the only goal after 53 minutes.

MIKE FLYNN was delighted with his Newport players after questionin­g their efforts last time out. ‘I knew I would get a result,’ he said. Striker Padraig Amond scored the winner.
