BRADFORD inflicted Wigan’s first home league defeat since March. Charlie Wyke bundled in the visitors’ opener and although Chey Dunkley levelled, Tyrell Robinson hit the late winner.

SHREWSBURY boss Paul Hurst enjoyed the perfect return to his former club despite Abu Ogogo’s red card. Jon Nolan and Stefan Payne got their goals with Richie Towell replying.

BRISTOL R 1 AFC WIMBLEDON 3

FINE solo goals from Andy Barcham and Harry Forrester put Wimbledon on course for victory. Cody McDonald was also on target before Lee Brown fired a consolatio­n for Bristol Rovers.

WALSALL 0 GILLINGHAM 1

GILLINGHAM’S renaissanc­e under Steve Lovell continued as they won with 10 men. Conor Wilkinson got the goal and they held on despite the second-half dismissal of Max Ehmer.

BURY 0 BLACKBURN 3

MARCUS ANTONSSON’S first-half double set Blackburn on their way to victory at rock-bottom and managerles­s Bury. Bradley Dack’s second-half goal wrapped it up for Tony Mowbray’s side.

PORTSMOUTH 1 SOUTHEND 0

BRETT PITMAN continued his comeback as his 12th goal of the season gave Portsmouth victory. It was set up by sub Matthew Kennedy, and manager Kenny Jackett said: ‘He really changed the game.’

CHARLTON 2 MK DONS 2

KIERAN AGARD’S injury-time penalty earned a point for MK Dons. It was his second goal of the game and came after Josh Magennis and a Scott Golbourne own-goal had twice put Charlton in front.

PLYMOUTH 0 OXFORD 4

OXFORD romped to victory over 10-man Plymouth. Ryan Ledson scored from the spot after Ryan Edwards was sent off, with Wes Thomas, James Henry and Jon Obika also on target.

FLEETWOOD 0 DONCASTER 0

DONCASTER boss Darren Ferguson felt his side were unlucky not to win, saying: ‘Their keeper has made three very good saves.’ It was the first time Fleetwood had failed to score at home in the league this season.

PETERBORO 0 BLACKPOOL 1

KYLE VASSELL returned from injury to fire the only goal as Blackpool beat his former club Peterborou­gh. ‘Having Kyle back gave everyone a lift,’ said Blackpool boss Gary Bowyer.

NORTHAMPTO­N 0 SCUNTHORPE 3

SCUNTHORPE extended their winning run to four league games after Duane Holmes’ second-half double eased them to victory at Northampto­n. Cameron Burgess had opened the scoring.

OLDHAM 3 ROCHDALE 1

EOIN DOYLE scored a superb late double as Oldham claimed local derby honours. Cameron Dummigan had given them and early lead but was then at fault as Matt Done replied.
