A DRAW was enough to clinch promotion for Luton and spark celebratio­ns among their 1,400 travelling fans. They were behind to Danny Grainger’s penalty, but Olly Lee levelled.

GOALS either side of half-time from Shaquile Coulthirst and Ricardo Almeida Santos kept Barnet’s survival hopes alive, and manager Martin Allen said: ‘It was the best performanc­e over a full 90 minutes since I’ve started.’

MITCH ROSE’S penalty dragged Grimsby closer to safety and ended Swindon’s play-off hopes with manager Phil Brown saying: ‘The culture has to change 100 per cent.’

NOTTS COUNTY hammered struggling Yeovil thanks to goals from Dan Jones, Elliott Hewitt, Lewis Alessandra and a Tom James own-goal. Alex Fisher got a late consolatio­n.

SUBSTITUTE Shaun Miller’s late winner secured victory for Crewe and left Morecambe still under the threat of relegation, with boss Jim Bentley admitting: ‘There is work to be done. It’s heaped a lot more pressure onto us.’

MANSFIELD’S play-off hopes were rocked by a late Tom Pope equaliser for Port Vale. They were ahead through a Kyle Howkins own-goal but were made to pay for missed chances.

EXETER failed to take advantage of Wycombe’s defeat when a draw saw them miss the chance of going into the top three. Jayden Stockley got both Exeter goals, but Enzio Boldewijn and Josh Yorwerth replied for Crawley.

LUKE WATERFALL headed a last-gasp winner for Lincoln. They were ahead through Elliott Whitehouse’s penalty before substitute Courtney Senior levelled for Colchester.
