Is it all OK? Zara’s husband tenderly touches her blossoming baby bump

- By Jonathan Petre

IT WAS an intimate moment of affection on this most public of occasions, shared between Harry’s cousin Zara and her husband Mike Tindall in St George’s Chapel.

Tenderly placing a comforting hand on the belly of his wife, who is eight months pregnant, the former England rugby captain reassuringly said: ‘All OK baby?’

Earlier, as the couple entered the chapel, he had shown his concern, asking Zara: ‘Are you all right there? Are you OK?’

The 37-year-old daughter of Princess Anne and her first husband Captain Mark Phillips is expecting her second child with Tindall. The touching moment was particularly poignant as she suffered a miscarriage in 2016, with her husband recently speaking for the first time about how their daughter Mia, four, had proved a ‘saving grace’ in helping the couple overcome the pain of the loss.

Zara, the eldest grandchild of the Queen, looked glowing when she arrived at Windsor Castle for the wedding, laughing and joking with her husband.

She was wearing a specially fitted deep teal dress with a Peter Pan collar and a matching fascinator, while bearded Mr Tindall, 39, wore a morning black suit with a lavender tie.

It appeared that the couple, who married in 2011, were unaware their actions had been caught by the television cameras, but Twitter users were quick to comment.

One posted: ‘Oh… how sweet were Mike and Zara Tindall just then, when they didn’t know the cameras were on them.

‘He touched her baby bump in such a loving way.’

Another said: ‘The way Mike Tindall rubbed Zara Phillips’s baby bump. I’m gone.’

A third said: ‘Nice lil [sic] moment between Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall #RoyalWedding.’
