REVELLERS filmed a young DJ being stabbed to death at a house party then sickeningly posted the footage on social media.

The 20-year-old victim – named online by his DJ name of Nana Banger – was knifed in a fight at an 18th birthday party on Friday night in Stamford Hill, North East London. He died in the early hours of yesterday morning.

A 17-year-old was also wounded and an older man suffered a head injury at the event.

Several onlookers used their mobile phones to capture the last moments of the victim’s life before putting clips on the socialnetworking site Snapchat.

One Twitter user who said they had seen the footage posted: ‘Man was dying and everyone backed there [sic] phones to record it ... I seen the snaps of everyone turning up then next mans just lying there dying.’

A young woman also tweeted: ‘How are you posting a video of someone dying? Posting a video like that. Who actually raised you?’ Another appalled girl wrote: ‘Tired of this generation that we’re living in... how the f*** do you back out your phone and record some dying?’

Banger is believed to have been performing when he was attacked. Timothy Fosu-Mensah, a Manchester United footballer currently on loan at Fulham, led tributes to the DJ. Under an image of the two together on Instagram, he wrote: ‘RIP to you my brother...love U may god bless U @nanabanger’.

The death has triggered the 107th murder investigation in London this year.

Detective Chief Inspector Andrew Packer said: ‘All three of these victims appear to have been attending a large house party at the address on Wilderton Road. I want to hear from anyone who was at that party, even if they didn’t witness the assaults.’

In another weekend of violence, a man in his 20s died on Friday after a fight outside a cinema in Sheffield. Six men and one woman have been arrested on suspicion of murder. In Sunbury, Surrey, a man named as Colin Barrett died from wounds suffered in a pub brawl. And a woman died after being stabbed in a house in King’s Lynn, Norfolk. A man in his 20s has been arrested.
