SHE’S the girl-nextdoor queen of daytime TV, but Holly Willoughby today shows her sultry side in a stunning photoshoot reminiscent of Marilyn Monroe at the peak of her fame.
Our exclusive pictures were taken as Holly, 37, prepares to take over as the co-host of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! alongside Declan Donnelly.
And in an interview with You magazine, the star of ITV’s This Morning reveals she was given the blessing of her friend Ant McPartlin, Donnelly’s long-time sidekick, to take his place in Australia. ‘Yes, we’ve spoken and he’s happy – he was part of the decision that I’d do it,’ reveals Holly.
McPartlin is taking a break from TV as he recovers from prescription drug addiction, alcohol problems and a messy divorce, and Holly says: ‘He just needs to look after himself – that’s the most important thing.’
She has no desire to break up the Ant and Dec award-winning partnership, saying: ‘He knows I’ll look after the show and keep it warm for him.’
Holly will take her children – Harry, nine, Belle, seven, and Chester, four – and their tutors to Australia. Her husband Dan Baldwin, 43, will be there for five days.
Holly, often moved to tears by tragic tales on This Morning, admits coming face-to-face with creepy crawlies is not something she will find easy. She says: ‘It’s not crying I’m worried about – it’s the screaming!’
