LIAM KINSELLA’S late owngoal handed Bradford victory and extended Walsall’s winless run to nine games. James Vaughan had earlier missed a penalty for Bradford.

SAM SMITH netted twice as Cambridge ended a run of three consecutiv­e defeats against 10man Crewe. Paul Lewis was also on target, while Eddie Nolan and Chuma Anene scored for Crewe, who had Paul Green sent off.

EOIN DOYLE scored twice as Swindon climbed to second in the table as they swept past Macclesfie­ld. Keshi Anderson also scored to help stretch Swindon’s winning run to three.

NICKY LAW maintained Exeter’s unbeaten start to the league season with a stoppage-time penalty. Pierce Sweeney had put the home side ahead before Lee Angol and Louis Dennis’ 25-yard effort put Orient in front.

GRIMSBY snatched a point with a dramatic late comeback. Christophe­r Missilou and Filipe Morais had Oldham 2-0 with less than 10 minutes to go, but Jordan Cook and defender Ludvig Ohman scored to grab a draw.
