SUBSTITUTE Shay McCartan grabbed Bradford’s winner to end Swindon’s unbeaten away record. Hope Akpan headed them in front but Jerry Yates levelled for Swindon only for McCartan to win it 11 minutes from time.

TOM POPE won it with his first two goals since the opening day, with Luke Joyce also on target. John O’Sullivan put Morecambe in front but they had Jordan Cranston sent off.

SUBSTITUTE Abobaker Eisa hit an injury-time equaliser to grab a point for Scunthorpe. Alex Gilliead had put them ahead before Argyle central defender Will Aimson scored twice.

COLCHESTER came from behind to beat bottom club Stevenage. Jason Cowley put the visitors ahead with a deflected effort but Colchester hit back with secondhalf goals from Tom Eastman, Frank Nouble and Kwame Poku.

OLDHAM 1 CHELTENHAM 1

CHELTENHAM stretched their unbeaten run to six games. They had to come from behind, Ryan Broom cancelling out an early goal from Oldham veteran Filipe Morais.

FOREST GREEN 3 CRAWLEY 1

FOREST GREEN climbed to the top of the table with an emphatic win. Joseph Mills put away the rebound from his missed penalty and later scored one, with Aaron Collins also on target. Mason Bloomfield scored for Crawley.

JAMES BROPHY handed Orient victory over Northampto­n on an emotional afternoon at Sixfields as the two clubs paid tribute to the late Justin Edinburgh, who managed both of them.

KRYSTIAN PEARCE’S stoppage-time goal saw 10-man Mansfield pick up a much-needed win. Hayden White was sent off for a bad foul on Jake Hessenthal­er but they still won it when Pearce prodded home.

LUKE ARMSTRONG and Jake Jervis opened their Salford accounts as the club claimed their first-ever Football League away win. Defender Ibou Touray added a late third.

CARLISLE boss Steve Pressley admitted his players were ‘devastated’ at conceding George Nurse’s 96th-minute winner for Newport. He said: ‘I had 95 minutes and 50 seconds on my watch when he scored the goal.’
