Jerry snaps up a little place in the country... for £11m

-

AS THE former partner of Rolling Stones star Mick Jagger, Jerry Hall has never been short of a luxury pad to call home.

And she’s not exactly slumming it since marrying the billionaire media tycoon Rupert Murdoch either, for I hear that the supermodel has been handed the keys to an £11.25 million palace in the Chilterns. I can reveal the couple are the new owners of handsome Holmwood House, a Grade II listed Georgian property near Henleyon-Thames.

The house has an interesting history and was once a haven for 19th Century poets Algernon Charles Swinburne and Lord Tennyson.

Jerry famously dumped Sir Mick after he fathered a child with Brazilian model Luciana Gimenez in 1999. The Texan beauty queen remained at the couple’s magnificent mansion in Richmond, SouthWest London, and left only after marrying Murdoch in 2016.

A clause in her divorce settlement with Jagger stated she had to quit the property if she remarried.

However, it looks like Jerry, 63, is having the last laugh by moving to the Oxfordshire countryside with Murdoch, 88. Their new home, built in the 1700s, boasts an infinity pool, library, ballet studio, and 11 bedrooms, each with a bathroom – an extremely unusual feature for a listed property, according to the estate agents handling the sale. There are also three annexes – each with a gated entrance – in the 26 acres of grounds, providing accommodation for staff or guests.
