It’s Meghan Maskle! Couple cover up to collect gas guzzler
PRINCE HARRY and Meghan Markle took no chances against coronavirus during a trip out in Beverly Hills, wearing their mandatory face masks.
The couple were spotted in a car park without their one-year-old son Archie as they picked up their car from a valet just a few miles from their £15 million, eightbedroom mansion.
Meghan, 38, who was dressed in a beige dress and black and brown £ 105 Sam Edelman ballet pumps, showed off an expensive-looking gold watch which she hasn’t been seen wearing before.
But while they stuck to California’s strict regulations against Covid-19, the Sussexes’ car raised eyebrows.
The black Cadillac Escalade normally comes with a gas-guzzling six-litre engine, so is perhaps an unusual purchase for a couple who are so vehement about their fight against climate change.
The luxury five-door motor, which costs at least £ 80,000, is described in online reviews as being ‘as far from environmentally friendly as you can get’.
Speaking last year about his fears over climate change, his concern about environmental issues and his love for nature, Harry, 35, said: ‘We are the one species on this planet that seems to think that this place belongs to us, and only us.’
The Sussexes flew on private jets four times in 11 days last summer, including taking a trip on Sir Elton John’s plane to his villa in Nice.
