I’m so jealous of pampered Penny!
Last week you reported how Rod Stewart and his wife Penny marked the reopening of bars and hairdressers with cocktails at a hotel, above, and highlights at the Steven Carey salon in Mayfair, right. But you said that Penny also had a pedicure there. How can she have one at Steven Carey but I can’t have one at my local salon? It’s so unfair!

I can’t help but feel amazed at the crowded scenes in pubs and hairdressers as the coronavirus lockdown restrictions are lifted.
People are saying they are desperate for a haircut or a pint and they all promise to act responsibly, but the mere fact that they are going to these establishments means that they are not acting responsibly. Are they really prepared to sacrifice their lives and the lives of their families just so that they can have a pint and a haircut?
